Merry Christmas Eve Eve

Merry Christmas Eve Eve (if there is such a thing)!!

We have finished shopping, and baking, and wrapping and now we are eating a Di Giorno frozen pizza for dinner (which on a side note is not to bad) and Addison bursts out singing Jingle Bells. We think she may be singing a different language after the initial Jingle Bells. . .but she's still pretty darn cute!

Jingle, Jingle, Jingle

Here is Addison all dolled up and ready to go to her Winter Dance performance
--Holiday Happenings--
Friday, December 10, 2010.

Our little dancer!!

Check out her cute hair!! Thanks to the iPhone Face Time and Aunt Hilary!!

Miss Sue's dance class getting ready to perform Jingle, Jingle, Jingle.
Audrey, Our Addison, Hayden, Addison, Harloe, and Addison (note there are 3 Addisons in her class, guess it was a popular name that year!)

They all did great, not a lot of unison :) But no one ran off the stage in tears or refused to go on. I call that a success. Addison loved it!!

The Reindeer Festival

Issaquah Reindeer Festival--December 4, 2010

We got to go to Santa's house and see his reindeer and even sit in his "Grand Sleigh"

We got to see all the other animals--"Santa's helpers in various parts of the world"

This tiger, Almos, is a "baby" and was being very playful and talking. According to Addison is was wanting his mommy. Evidently she was right the zookeeper told us. :)

Posing by all the stone animals at the Issaquah Reindeer Festival. Check out that bear giving Peyton a back massage :)

Cookie Bouquet

Check out these cute cookies I made. I then the kids argued over which ones they were going to have because of course Addison wanted anything with pink or pearls or sparkles :) And that kind of covered them all, so that left Peyton with nothing :( Always lot of fun to be had.

Elf on a Shelf

We have an elf. . .his name is Sammy. He sits around and watches the kids and then at night he reports back to Santa. He comes back sometime during the night and the kids find him in all kids of precarious situations in the morning.

He has been known to eat Life cereal at the kitchen table, play basketball on the Xbox 360, read Lego magazines and ESPN the magazine, he wrote on the bathroon mirror with Mommy's lipstick, he took a bath one night in our tub. We never know quite where we will find him in the morning ;). But it's the first thing the kids say when they get up, "I'm going to find Sammy". It certainly is doing the job with our oldest and our youngest thinks it is fun but it doesn't seem to effect her behavior all that much :(

Where will Sammy be tomorrow?

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas. . .

First big snow in Washington. . .November 22-23.
I kind of feel like we should be building a sled instead of an ark.
The kids were loving playing outside. It feels just like Utah :)

We have a picture just like this of Peyton when he was almost 2--although he is much bigger now :)

The kids had a great time on their snow days. We had two snow just before Thanksgiving so the kids ended up out of school for Tuesday-Friday. Woohoo for them!

Here's what they did the first morning. . ..
