Last week of school-theme week

The kids had pajama day and sports day for the last week of school. Don't they look cute?!

Seattle here we come-Almost!

Now that the movers have come and I have everything packed, cleaned and the renters have moved in I now have time to catch up on our blog. :)
The movers came on Wednesday, May 26, 2010 to load us up and drive all of our stuff to Seattle. (This is definitely the way to go if you have to move). They fit our whole house in that truck. Now let me tell you that is a weird feeling to know that when that truck drove off they had most everything we own. Yikes!! They will be to Seattle on Tuesday the 1st and Joe will get the house put together for us!! Thanks Joe! Then we will head up on July 12th.
Thanks Movers. Drive carefully!!

Timpanogos Academy

Half way through the year at the end of January Peyton got off the wait list as the charter school, Timpanogos Academy and got to go to Kindergarten there in the afternoons after Kids Village. He really enjoyed making new friends and recess and PE. He is below in his "dress uniform" as they wore uniforms there. Usually it was navy or khaki slacks with a white, green or navy polo.

Snow in May!!!! Arggghh!

May 24th?! Snow in May. Who would have figured? It was so wet and heavy it broke our flowering pear tree in the front in about 3 places. I think it was upset we were moving:)

Activity Days "Tea Party"

We had a great manners "Tea Party" with the mother's and daughters. We had chicken croissant sandwiches, fruit, veggies, and good water, with pink cookies for dessert. Yummy!!
Then we played some games. Put a princess tag on your back and then try to guess with YES or NO questions only who you are. Look at the tray of "Tea Party" stuff and then when it is gone, write down everything on the tray. And unwrap a present over and over with a to do under each layer. Below in Sela and Lisa Harris singing "I'm a Little Tea Pot".

Kids Village Graduation-2010

Peyton graduated from Kindergarten at Kids Village on May 19th, 2010. It was very cute and he is very excited to be a first grader. He was not however very excited to do the hand actions for the songs in his program. (As a side note his "girlfriend" Micah is the only girl on the top row)

Addison graduated on the next day from Little Sprouts and her class program was great! The kids in her class were very enthusiastic.

There is one song from each program on the video below. They are my favorites of the songs they did :)

"The Dance Class" Spring performance

Addison has been taking a dance class with her Aunt Hilary once a week since September. They are very adorable. Notice Addison is the one who wanders a lot! However she has learned things because very often at home she will randomly say hey mom look at this. . .and do some kind of dance move. Maybe there is hope yet :) Enjoy the video!

I love my kids!!

I love my kids, even when they don't go to bed until 11:00pm, and they whine, and they glom all over me, and they fight with each other. . .
because they always still love me and will chat and cuddle and say the cutest things.

Under The Sea!

Under the Sea, Addison turns 3!!
Addison turned three yesterday and had an Under the Sea Ariel party. She had family and firends come over and play in the pool, hot tub, and slip and slide (luckily the weather decided to cooperate). I can't believe how fast time flies. We do LOVE our Addison. She keeps us hopping at every turn and we wouldn't trade her for anything.
We love you Addison!!
Happy Birthday!

Packing, Packing, Packing

So it is now May and I realize that my movers are coming this month. Ahhhh!! Actually 3 weeks from tomorrow. Isn't packing and sorting fun? I have yet to decide if that is true or not yet. But I better get a move on as we are having a garage sale on Saturday. Woohoo!

We found a house!

We found a house in Seattle. Well it's not actually in "Seattle"
it's in Sammamish, which is East of Seattle. It has room for visitors so make plans to visit Seattle :) We'll be there in July.
