MIA

I kind of feel like we are a little MIA. We were camping this weekend with Joe's family at Deception Pass. My regular computer is broken and has been shipped to UT to be fixed and so I feel a little out of whack.

Pictures to come tomorrow once I download. I think we are fairly free for the next 2 weeks. Except that new Primary Presidency calling I got (which is fun) but will give me something else to balance. Am I up to the challenge? Of course I am!

See you all tomorrow.

Is it time for school yet?

Have you ever had one of those crazy weeks? Of course you have. This last week was one of those for us. My sister in laws was off on a lovely Alaskan cruise with her husband so we spent a lot of time with Joe's parents and Andrea's kids. (the kids and I that is, as Joe was busy with work all week). And my computer broke this week. Who knew it would be so tricky to send it to out favorite Utah computer repair shop, High Tech Customs? It's just to expensive to have someone here fix it.

So in our attempt to experience the greater Seattle area and help Joe's parents we entered our week of fun. (I hadn't originally expected to experience everything all in one week :) but hey what do you do) Peyton, Addison and I went camping to Bayview on Monday night with them. Roasted marshmellows and made s'mores which were the hit. The kids did shows, songs, were played charades and telephone. Lots of fun!!

Does this look like trouble?

Tuesday the kids were so bummed that we couldn't go swimming after camping, but I had things to do (and was going to dinner with my friend Carrie, delicious Thai. Thanks Carrie!)

Wednesday we stayed home, Phew!!
Thursday we were off to play again to the Forest Park in Everett for a picnic and petting zoo, spray park. Lots more fun, but a bit cold for my taste. We are looking at 60's and cloudy. I am hoping for 80's and sun. I guess you can't have everything :)
Face painting all around, Addison--pink duck; Grace--white bunny; Peyton--yellow duck; Keith--white bunny; Max--penguin.

Friday was Costco and Ikea! How can you not love Ikea? and Costco for that matter? Lunch with a good friend and dinner with my little family.

Saturday we went to see Cats and Dogs 2: Revenge of Kitty Galore. If you haven't seen it, do. Pretty funny stuff. The kids loved it!

Dinner with our friends, The Greens on Sunday in Maple Valley. Loved to see you again!

And now I ask is it time for school yet? Not because I want my kids gone, but because I need to get back into a routine. Soon, but now off to play more. . .
