Father's Day

Happy Father's Day to a wonderful father and husband!

We are very lucky to have someone who is so thoughtful and helpful and puts up with all of our crazy habits. And there are a lot of them between the three of us.

We love you Joe (Daddy)!

The kids got him this great card.

It says on the front--"You deserve a nice relaxing day. . ."

and when you open it up the kids are jumping on the bed yelling, "Happy Father's Day Daddy, Happy Father's Day. . ."

We have taken at least a picture a day since March 2nd.

Here's some of the things we have done in June. . .

It was busy!!

Addison had her last day of music. . .with Miss Jeanna.

Sleeping J.D. This is one of his favorite activities!

Addison had her last day of school with Miss Keri.

And her end of school Carnival--for the whole family.

The last Little League game for the Red Sox

We had a new niece born--Emily Sarah (Joe's brother's little girl)

Peyton's 1st grade carnival at the park.

Peyton's last day of school--his best buddy Hallie in the middle and another good friend in his class Katie. (According to Katie's mom, Peyton's the heartbreaker in class.)

Addison and I get pedicures--lovely toes, but gosh my feet look tough :)

Bonjour Paris!

For those of you who know Addison you know that she has an infatuation with Paris.

She LOVES Paris!!

Everything about Paris (at least everything that she knows about)

She told her preschool teacher one day when they were learning about Europe in history. . .

"My mom said I could go to Paris when I am older"

I did tell her that. I hope she can go!

So look at what I found here, Oh Happy Day.

A trip to Paris!

Wouldn't that be heavenly?
Can I really post via text?? Look at that!

Success. . .

Success is speaking words of praise,
In cheering other people's ways,

In doing just the best you can
With every task and every plan.

It's silence when your speech would hurt,
Politeness when your neighbors curt.

It's deafness when the scandal flows
And sympathy with others' woes.

It's loyalty when duty calls.
It's courage when disaster falls.

It's patience when the hours are long.
It's found in laughter and in song.

It's in the silent time of prayer,
In happiness and in despair.

In all of life and nothing less,
We find the thing we call success.

Addison's Spring Recital

Addison had her Spring dance recital yesterday. . .

"In the Spotlight"

She did a ballet number to "The Good Ship Lollipop".

The ironic thing is that I did a dance number to the same song when I was little. Mine was tap and I had a sailor outfit (which we still have). Unfortuately I don't have a video of that :)

Addison thought that was pretty cool that we did the SAME dance!!

Here's her's below, followed by the finale. She's on the end.

ENJOY!!!
