Peyton was chosen by the Jedi Masters to do Jedi Training at Disneyland. I guess they must have felt the "force" in him. He trained by practicing his light saber moves and then. . . out came Darth Vader and Darth Maul and the young Jedi padawans had to fight and show their skills. Peyton took on Darth Maul. Below is his battle. . . He then got his certificate of training from the Jedi Master. Very cool!!

Orem Summerfest
We went to Summerfest with Sara and Maggie (Addison's friend). We had a lot of fun. The kids went on the rides and got ID cards from the Orem police department. We went through the booths and I found some great purses and bags from Jennyleedesigns.com. We had cotton candy (the kids) and chocolate dipped strawberries (me) and kettle corn (Sara). All delicious fair food. Yummy! We beat the down pour that happened about 2 hours after we were there. Phew!!

The Dog Days of Summer
Thanksgiving Point had a weekend Dog Days the 4-5 of June. So on Saturday we loaded up J.D. and took him to meet a lot of other dogs. He was great!! The kids had a great time and made their own dog ears. We watched Splash Dogs and the obstacle course. The kids were anxious for J.D. to have a run at it. But we decided against it, since he hadn't practiced (and it was $10 extra per run)
Hey batter, batter. . .
So somehow in the craziness of this move to Seattle and all the fun and excitement of the summer I have failed to keep this completely updated. So here goes again the catch up with the hope of keeping up much better once we are settled in Seattle (in three weeks).
I am catching up now as we are in Southern California on vacation it is 11:30, my kids are sleeping, but my friend has taken her youngest, who is 11 to the hospital with suspected appendicitis. Not fun!!
But on to the catch up. Peyton is playing T-ball again and is really liking it. His friend Nicholas and Ryan are on the team and he has a really great coach who is really helping them with skills. It's a lot of fun to watch (and really great only watching, no coaching!)
