Today we tried our first Mommy and Me Book club.

This girl's blog has whole plans for gobs of books.
They are mostly young books but I figured Peyton would feel bad if he didn't get to do it :) So we did it on a Wednesday, early out day. We invited some friends over to join us.
We started with
Brown Bear, Brown Bear
We read the book and then did two of the projects on the "lesson plan"
We made the brown bear necklaces, and added beads in between the animals--the kids made patterns.
And we made Brown Bear collages with lots of BROWN stuff in the kitchen.
Oatmeal
Cheerios
Sprinkles
Whole cloves
Ground cloves
Cinnamon
